I have played millions of hands of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at chemin de fer. I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over the years I have played a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this method or beat the casino, nonetheless you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling at times. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years back with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see betting this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Take $5 paid to you, leave the first five dollar bet
Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20
Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Bet eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
