I have enjoyed countless of rounds of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of money at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a few years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a number of days ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Wager $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first $10 wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial 40 dollar wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
