I have played millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this tactic or beat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first five dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the original $20 bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of $40
Wager 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s iffy to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
