I have gambled on millions of rounds of 21. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of funds at 21. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a few months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first twenty dollar bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 wager
Bet $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of $80
Bet $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet
If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
