I have enjoyed countless of hands of chemin de fer. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of money at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a few years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a few days ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can give up a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you see gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original $20 bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $160 bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up $315 !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
