I have played millions of rounds of 21. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have played online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of funds at 21. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to beat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that blackjack appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original amount.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very exciting at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this technique! And a number of days ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice gamble this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $10 bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first $160 bet
If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s difficult to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
